Lindons Residential Care Home
Welcome to the Lindons residential care
home in Newton Abbot Devon.
The care provided is designed to
build on your own strengths and wishes, and constantly seeks
to improve your quality of life
whether you need just support with everyday tasks or 24 hour
assistance and whether you decide
to make the Lindons either your
permanent home, or for a short period of convalescence, or just
to have a break from your own home. You decide
Our Care Plan is formed on arrival along with an induction and
introduction to the home. Residents and their family or representatives
are invited to participate in developing care plans and attending
any reviews held. Residents and their representative may see
care plans at all reasonable times in arrangement with the Manager.
Once developed, the Care Plan will be reviewed regularly to
ensure that it is meeting the resident's needs. Family and relatives
will be encouraged to participate in residents' daily routine,
as far as is practicable. They are always invited and encouraged
to relay their thoughts and, if any, complaints.
Our Staff
We provide a personal & professional social care service in
a well-maintained, homely environment. This is supported in
no small way by our dedicated team which consists of our Registered
Manager, Deputy Manager and senior carers / carers. We carefully
recruit our staff and most have been with us for many years.
All of our care staff have induction, foundation and supervised
training. The majority of our staff have a minimum National
Vocation Qualification of Level II in Care and the remainder
will be working towards this as a minimum. We look for people
who are caring, understanding and patient with a good sense
of humour. We provide ongoing training and assessment to maintain
exceptionally high standards of care. The Housekeeping department
keeps our home clean and tidy, and our resident's with fresh
laundry.
