Abbeywood House
Cliff
& Philippa Strange welcome you to Abbeywood House, an
attractive Victorian Villa situated in one of the most tranquil
areas of Torquay. A short walk from St Marychurch, and adjacent
to Cary Park with it's beautiful trees and pleasant seating
areas, bowling green and tennis courts.
Abbeywood is set in its
own walled gardens with beautiful lawned gardens filled with
trees and shrubs. Since 1983 we have enabled older people
to live in a residential care setting while encouraging them
to remain as independent as possible as well as providing
a high level of quality care synonymous with Abbeywood.
Most of the rooms have en-suite facilities and residents are
encouraged to bring their own belongings to make them feel
at home. The lounge where one can meet old and new friends,
read, watch television or just enjoy the peace and tranquility
that Abbeywood has to offer.
Breakfast, lunch and evening meal is served in the dining
room which includes a varied and healthy first class menu
using only the finest local produce.
